I'm wiped out. I don't think I have ever been so tired after working at camp. Maybe I have and I just don't remember it, but damn, 4 year olds wear you out. I'm sure by the 3rd or 4th week I'll be used to it, hopefully. Joe Dolye's kids are in the 4s. There must be something about twins, but they are the best behaved kids in the group. We had twins last year, and they were also extremely well behaved. They call me Silly Mr. Alex and ask me to chase them every chance they get :x.

There are 2 good quotes. One is cute, but the other is pretty funny.
The first one comes from a 4 year old named Mia. She was in the 4s camp last year (she was 3 :p). "I was born a boy, but now I am a girl." Its cute, that's about it.
The other comes from a 5 year old. He was in the barn talking to Laura Walls, since he was really nervous about being at camp. So, he pooped his pants and then some. Matt Tucci was cleaning up the mess and him. As Matt was wiping the camper's bottom, the camper said, "Go deeper, have some courage." He later said to his father, "See, I told you I would poop my pants if I went to camp. You said I wouldn't, but I did!" |

I'm not a big fan of country music. The last country song that I liked was "Goodbye Earl" by the Dixie Chicks. It was pretty funny the first time I heard it. Well the Dixie Chicks resently released a new song "Not Ready to Make Nice." I really like it. Not just because it sounds good (a nice mix of rock and country) but also what its about. More or less its their retaliation to people's backlash from their Anti-Bush remarks. |

After that obviously unbaised review, I am getting a Wii later this year. SSBB is gonna be the new kick ass party game, plus with Wifi and online features, its gonna be even more fun. We can have Wii parties instead of Game Cube parties now...maybe I shouldn't have typed that. Definatly SSBB at my house durring Winter break next year. You can quote me on that (and tell the others who dont have me friended).
I have to paint part of the inside of the house on Monday. I'm getting ~$400 for it (what my dad would have paid a painter for). Actually whats really happening is I am going to continue to get an allowance over the summer so that it totalls $400 by then end of break. Normally I won't be getting an allowance over summer vacation while in college. Must find things to do next summer as well :x.

Treasures of Aht Urghan has made FFXI unheathfully addicting again.

2 unwelcome zits right under my cheek bones on what was for the first time in years a zit free face ;;.
In other news, I got 0 back from the Feds (not that they took anything away in the first place) and 42.something-or-other back from the state. Maybe I'll trade in my GBA and use my state refund to get a DS. Maybe I wont't I really don't know.
I made dinner on Tuesday, then again I try to make dinner as much as I can. Everything was going fine. I was browning up some chicken in the frying pan, while I had saffron rice (holy hell Saffron is expensive o.o) simiering. I had just finished choping the onions and garlic and was getting ready to cut the olives (it was a spanish chicken dish my mom saw Rachel Ray make). At that moment, a very depressed squirrel came to the conclution that its life of sex and nuts was just not what it wanted and decided to end it all, by walking into the transformer. 1 second later, fried squirrel and dead power in the house. After a FEW expitives and head banging into a counter, I figured out there was one way to continue to make dinner, on the grill. It was slower and not exactly by the book, but hey it worked and it tasted pretty good, if I do say so myself XD.
Finally I leave you with this. Nintendo announced its offical name for its next generation video game system, which was previously code named Revolution. That in itself is a fine name and all, but Nintendo decided to prove to the world just how "creative" they can be. First one on Bismarck to finish the PUP quest. Quest is easy as heck.
Go to Bastok Markets and talk to the PUP NPC.
Go to K-9 in Aht Urghan Whitegate and talk to the Taru sitting in the rafters
Go to I-7 in Whitegate and talk to the Galka in the AutoMaton shop
Take Boat to Na-City of the mole people
Use the North exit
With Sneak and Invis head on the only possible path until it opens
Then Go North and a little west, until you get to the reef.
*Careful of the Lamia* (sneak only) and Imp (possibly TS)
In the reef head to the first ship on your right
Click the ??? to get the Antique Automaton
Return to the Galka and give him the Automaton
Wait 1 vanadiel day (may have to zone)
Get the new automaton
Talk to the taru again.

Meer moments after installing "Treasures of Aht Urghan" onto my PC, I broke FFXI...AGAIN! GO ME! Get to watch it download 14,000 (yes thats 14,000) files then install them. YAY! I ROXS HARDCORE!

So yeah its been a long time since I posted in my own LJ; been mostly posting in the FFXI community journal. Its really weird seeing you on your own friends page.
Anyway, life is good, its a bit warm in my room (I miss AC a lot now :( ). Thats what I get for leaving the poor house with AC for a room whose window is west facing in a nicer area. Whatever, I can deal with it for 2 more weeks. Collinsfest was on Saturday. It was a lot of fun for the parts that I was there. Set up from 10-12, including making a very large Ballon Arch (i think it was 30-40 feet in the end) and moving one of those inflatable bouncing things. Those things are heavy o.o. It took 6 people to carry it. Went back to my room for a few hours to try to get some sleep (fail) and loaf around (win) until 4:30 to grill. Grilled from 5-6:15. Stayed for another hour and a half and retired to my room. There were a lot of Colins bands, Kareoke; a 65ft long Sundae+snow cones, cotton candy and iced coffee. Lots of people there, a big hit.
I have a 91.8% in Psych 101 now. The lowest test is dropped. The last test is during finals week. Guess whose not going to class for the last 2 weeks :P.
The final in Calc III is also optional. Sweet; just need to do well on the test next week. I'm really starting like this semester.
Except for the whole Double and Triple integral thing. I sucked when there was just 1 and now you want me to do 1-2 more and figure out the limits based of equations in 3d space. DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED.
Dreams is comming to a close with lots of Projects due. This is the first part of my final (my Dream Fiction, 1/5 for the group). Shouldnt be too hard to figure out who the characters are based off of, though 1 is a mix of 2 people. Its a bit bland, seeing as I wrote it in a hurry yesterday. for some reason there is no indenting, oh well.

I got my room changed. I was going to live on the hill again, but I got it moved down to Cravens. I'm hoping it will be much better, being in the main cluster.
My registration date isnt until the last 2 days of school. Woot, NOT! It's not like I am signing up in August or anything, but still its later than I would have hoped for.
Beat Sepheiroth in KH2. Even at lvl 94 on Sora with all the bonus abilities from lvl 7 Drive forms, it still took me 4 tries to beat him, and only one of those loses was from the cheap-shot "Heartless Angel" attack (drains all MP and brings HP down to 1). Hard but very fun fight. Just started proud mode, and its harder but thats better. Standard was a bit easy. No review, I changed my mind.
FFXI: Treasures of Aht Urghan (Afganistan is the joke name, since it has a very middle eastern theme). Looks like its going to be fun. Out of the 3 new jobs Blue Mage and Puppetmaster are the only 2 I might lvl. Didnt like Blue mage (Uses Moster's Abilities) in FF5, nor 9, thought it wsa decent in 8 and liked the materia in 7. FFXI's looks nice though a bit more complex. Can only have a set number of abilities at your disposial unlike the other games. Puppetmaster is an orignal job to the FF series and looks fun. You have your own Puppet which you can change the equip for (12 slots total) and the Puppet (called an Automaton) will perform various abilites based off the commands you give it+the equipment it has.
I am at home at the momment. 1) cause Air conditioning rocks and I am sleeping better because its cooler. 2) Cause I jsut felt like coming home. I'm out of clothes (I only thought I'd be here for 2 days), maybe i'll get more tomorrow, I'm not sure if I will just stay here for the rest of the sememster.

Beat Kingdom Hearts II. Total play time 49 hours 37 Min. Final Level, 65. Jiminey's Journal: 97% completion. Most used form: Valor, 62 times. Anti-Form used: 18 times. Saved by Mickey: 0 times! Healed Party members: 220 times.
The final fight was a lot of fun, as well as long, about 30-40 min. The ending was good too and I'm itching to see what the bonus ending is.
So yeah I beat it...but I havent completed it yet! there is still that 3% left of the Journal, plus all of Proud Mode. I'll write a game review later, I've got more important things to do at this time, like school work (as much as I don't want to). |

4 weeks left in the school year..time sure does fly, and I cant wait for it to end. Its just I never really got into this year and really didnt enjoy it overall. I'm looking foward to working at the Y again; routine is something I can handle. College still isnt routine for me. Wonder if it well ever be
As I type this I realize that Daylight Savings has started, and its really 6 am. Fuck DLS, we were fine without it forever and starting it won't do us any good.
There was a Tornado warning on Friday..for south eastern Monroe. The sirens went off here..yeah um Bloomington is south western Monroe. 5 min later they canceled it. Good job!
Why is my hair turning blond? It's not just the front but I'm noticing it along the stop and sides now. I haven't been outside much other than walking to class and Gardening. It's a bit distrubing.
In the final world of Kingdom Hearts 2: The World that Never Was. (cool name huh). Nearly non-stop waves of Heartless and Nobodies (want to know what those are? ask) Only this world, Twilight Town, and Olympus Collisium uncomplete as well as a few misc things in Jiminey's Journal (Synth info, Ansem Reports and what-not) for 100% complete (needed for the bonus movie aka KH3 teaser). Current time: 42 hours and 21 min. Man thats sad. Oh well the game is as fun as hell. Boss fights vs Organization XIII members are fun and a bit challenging and finally getting Final form (its a complete accident to get it the first time lol) is exciting. Tried the Sephiroth fight at lvl 49...his defences are aweful, but he makes up for it in power and speed...just 4 attacks after I blocked the intial combo (kinda have to or its instant loss) took me from full health to 1 HP. But I still took of 1 HP bar (he has 9....more than anything else) before he hit me again. Sucks you have to beat him for 100%. |

I can describe my day with S words; sunny, sick, sunburn and satisfying.
It was an very sunny day today, easily hitting 75+ degrees. It was amazing. It was so nice to go to Gardening since we spent the whole time outside or in the Greenhouse; there was almost 0 lecture and tons of hands on work. It was a lot of fun.
However, I felt like crap the whole day. I woke up at 10 and just felt god awful. Deciding that going to calc 3 wasnt going to make me feel any better, I took some headache and decongestant and slept for 3 more hours. Felt a bit better at 1 and decided to go to Gardening since it was outside and that would make me feel better. It did, I'm just worn out now.
While going outside and working in the greenhouse, transplanting plants (think total between the class we transplanted about 200), I kind of forgot that the acne medication drops my bodies sun resistance to pretty low levels. So I got a little sunburned. oh well
Satisfied. I dunno thats just how I feel right now.

So comes the last 2 days of Spring Break. Time to clean the house before the parents get back :x.

First US KH2 review gave it a 9 out 10. Only downsides were repetitiveness of Disney worlds from KH1 and the lenght of the game.

Dynamis-Beaucedine was a loss. Pretty good for a second attempt. 50% HP left on Angyra Manyu before everyone (but 3 people, myself included) were flattened by his pet dragons. SAM NIN and WHM AF2 dropped. DRK is 21 lvls away from 37, strangely enough I am starting to like it. |

I'm slightly bored with Spring Break atm. Yet at the same time I'd rather it not end. I kind of wished I'd gone somewhere, but at the same time I'm glad I stayed home so I could mess around in the kitchen. Watching the Food Networks "Chefographies" was entertaining, though I didn't watch Ina Gartiens, because I don't care so much for her show. (Paula was the first show I saw, Emerial is well Emerial, and Giada is hot (but shes 35..and married...damn another one kind of older than me and already wed)). Some of the information was interesting and it was cool to see where they came from.
11 Days until KH2. 7 weeks until freshman year ends. 12 weeks until Y-camp starts. -6 days until I lose my sainty.

Its spring break! WOOOOPIEEEEEE. Never been so happy to not have to go to school. I turned my Dreams paper in at the last possible second. The teacher was leaving the room just as I got there. I blame trafic, or atleast thats what I said. Truth be told I left the house late.
I attempted a new repicie today. Chicken in a Lime Juice/Garlic/Ginger/Olive oil (plus salt and pepper) marinade. It tasted great, however I think I will try grilling it as oposed to searing it. I had to remove the chicken and cut it up to get it to cook completely through. Also need to cut back on the lime juice. I underestimated the strenght of the citric acid and it sort of "cooked" a little bit of the outside of the chicken.
